1. Introduction
Nextcloud is a self-hosted cloud storage and collaboration platform that allows you to manage files, calendars, contacts, and more.
With the Nextcloud application template in the MyHBD Cloud Panel, you can install Nextcloud on your VPS automatically without manual configuration.
Our system provides two ways to use the Nextcloud installer:
- Choose the Nextcloud one-click install option during VPS order.
- Or install Nextcloud later using the Nextcloud recipe inside the MyHBD Cloud Panel.
2. Install Nextcloud During VPS Order (One Click Installer)
- When ordering a VPS at MyHBD.net, go to the One Click Install tab.
- Select Nextcloud Installer from the list of available applications.
- Your VPS will be deployed with Nextcloud pre-installed using our optimized Nextcloud template.
This is the fastest way to start using Nextcloud as your private cloud.
3. Install Nextcloud Using the Nextcloud Template (Recipes in Cloud Panel)
- Log in to Client Area → Select your VPS → Login to Cloud Panel
- Or directly open MyHBD Cloud Panel.
- Navigate to Recipes.
- Choose Nextcloud Template (Nextcloud installer) and confirm installation.
- The recipe will automatically install the latest version of Nextcloud on your VPS.
This option is useful if you already have a VPS running and want to add Nextcloud later.
4. Verify Nextcloud Installation and Access the Web UI
After installation, open your browser and go to:
http://SERVER-IP/
You should see the Nextcloud setup page where you can create your admin account and configure storage.
5. Logs and Install Information
All installation logs are saved in:
/nextcloudinstall.log
Check this file for details about the Nextcloud installation process.
6. Important Notes
- You can install Nextcloud during VPS order with the one click Nextcloud installer or later with the Nextcloud recipe template.
- Installation time may vary depending on server resources.
- Make sure your VPS firewall allows HTTP/HTTPS (ports 80 and 443).
- Nextcloud requires PHP, a web server (Nginx/Apache), and a database — all are handled automatically by the recipe.
- You can reinstall or update Nextcloud anytime by re-running the Nextcloud installer recipe.
