1. Introduction
The hostname is the identifier for your VPS. You can change it anytime via the MyHBD Cloud Panel.
2. Accessing Hostname Settings
- Log in to Client Area → Select VPS → Login to Cloud Panel
- Or access MyHBD Cloud Panel.
3. Steps to Change Hostname
- Select your VPS from the dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings → Hostname.
- Enter the new hostname (e.g.,
server1.myhbd.net). - Click Update.
4. Important Notes
- Some operating systems require a reboot for the hostname to apply.
- Make sure the hostname is unique and follows standard naming rules.
